I worked with a couple of female clients who love masculine, wanted an Industrial style living room. They love, deep colours, and textures such as leather and materials such as wood. I was pleased to hear that traditional Industrial characteristics appeal to women as well as men. Primarily, because Industrial interior style is full of character.
With this furniture package, I chose a traditional brown leather look sofa. The sofa I selected is ideal also for its straight line. In fact, a straight line, and a square or rectangular shape is a recurrent feature in this concept.
We see the square shape in the coffee table and in the armchairs. I feel like the armchairs are a luxe aspect of this concept because of the velvet material but I think the deep blue colour keeps it Industrial, as does the straight line and square shape.
I introduce wood in the TV unit. Wood is a classic industrial material, but it also adds warmth and earthiness to the concept. In this piece the rectangle shape is repeated, so it’s ideal in this Industrial living room furniture package.
I added more earthiness through the jute rug but kept the colour palette by choosing the navy option. For some pattern and texture, I chose cushions with a tribal pattern and table lamps with an industrial iron base.
Finally, I chose art with abstract black and white, indirectly adding more interest to this concept.
My favourite piece in this Industrial style living room is the velvet armchair. I love the shape, material, and proportion, it looks so comfortable.
